How people use Glass

Most common

Tailscale + Glass: your own computers, from your own devices

Put Glass on the Mac, Linux or Windows box you want to reach and Tailscale on everything you own. Your iPad or phone opens it like a website, over your private tailnet: no ports opened, no account, nothing to install on the device in your hand.

On the computer

Install Glass

Mac, Linux or Windows. glass setup starts it in the background and asks for the two macOS permissions.

curl -fsSL glassdesk.dev | sh irm glassdesk.dev | iex

On both

Sign in to Tailscale

The same account on the computer and on your device. The free plan is enough. Private and end-to-end encrypted, with no ports opened.

On your device

Open the address

In any browser: an iPad, an iPhone or another computer. Your devices are let in automatically; nobody else is.

No Tailscale on the device you're holding? glass link --anywhere makes a one-time link that connects directly, end-to-end encrypted. How connecting works

Support

Help someone who has nothing installed

A parent, a friend, a customer. They paste one line; you type the nine-digit code they read out. They approve before you see anything, and Stop sharing removes every trace.

curl -fsSL glassdesk.dev/help | sh
irm glassdesk.dev/help | iex

They run that; you enter the code at glassdesk.dev/help. Details

Fleet New

Look after a handful of computers

Sign in with a passkey to see every computer on one page: online or not, disk, FileVault, firewall, Glass version. Check them against your rules, then update or restart them without opening a screen. Each action is signed by your passkey and checked by the computer itself.

Built for helping

One-line quick support, links with limits, chat, drawing and a privacy screen.

AI agents, supervised

Let Claude use your computer while you watch, and approve what matters from your phone.

Private, from anywhere

A real desktop app

On a Mac or a Windows PC: setup in a few clicks, then everything the command line does in a native window.

Ready for teams

Single sign-on, access rules, posture checks and a console.
